Fault Finding Test

20 minutes Timed

The Fault Finding Test, also known as a fault diagnosis test, measures a candidate's ability to diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems by understanding how different inputs are modified by a series of switches.

Each of the 25 questions, completed in 20 minutes, presents a grid describing switch functions alongside a flowchart showing an input-switches-output sequence using 3 of 7 possible switches. It is commonly used for technical, operational, and armed forces roles such as electricians, engineers, and maintenance staff.
