Legal Comprehension Test
The Legal Comprehension Test evaluates a candidate's ability to interpret legal passages accurately, apply defined terms and abbreviations correctly, and identify errors in numbers, dates, financial figures, cross-references, punctuation and formatting within contract-style documents.
Candidates complete 47 items in 25 minutes across three components: reading a short legal passage and judging statements as True, False or Cannot Tell; reviewing a single contract clause for the number of drafting errors it contains; and checking a clause's individual bullet points against a reference format. It is designed for paralegals, legal assistants, contract administrators, trainee solicitors, and legal researchers.
