Emotional Intelligence Survey (EIS)
The Emotional Intelligence Survey (EIS) is a psychometric questionnaire that measures 6 emotional-style scales, each broken down into 2 subscales for additional insight: Emotional Attention, Emotion Differentiation, Expressive Display, Reappraisal, Social Sensitivity and Interpersonal Regulation. Rather than a single pass/fail read, each scale describes a way of operating with strengths at both ends -- there is no such thing as a good or bad score.
Candidates rate agreement with 72 statements about how they typically attend to, distinguish, express and manage emotion -- their own and other people's. The questionnaire is untimed and typically takes around 15 minutes, and results are intended to support recruitment, development and coaching conversations alongside other evidence, not to stand alone.
