Development Dimensions Survey
The Development Dimensions Survey is a psychometric questionnaire that measures 8 personality traits, paired within four broader dimensions covering conventionality, self-control, emotional intensity and independence. Rather than a simple pass/fail read, each trait is assessed along a spectrum from non-problematic to potentially problematic presentations, informed by clinical personality frameworks.
Candidates rate agreement with statements about their behaviours, characteristics and motivations. The questionnaire is untimed and typically takes around 10 minutes, and results are intended to highlight areas worth exploring further at interview or through development planning, alongside individual candidate feedback.
