Error Checking Test

The Error Checking Test measures attention to detail and the ability to spot errors when comparing two sets of data containing numerical and verbal information.

Candidates work through 10 sets of 5 questions, 50 items in total, in 10 minutes, checking whether a 'pick manifest' matches a set of 'consignment details' and verifying that any marked columns follow the correct key. It is used to assess roles requiring accuracy and sustained concentration, including call centre staff, baggage handlers, and administrative positions.
